Video: Netherlands' worst driver proves it in graphic video

We’ve seen some pretty bad ideas for reality TV shows come to fruition, but they all pale in comparison toDe Allerslechtste chauffeur van Nederland? (Who Is The Worst Driver In The Netherlands?) – a concept that takes bad drivers and puts them behind the wheel in a series of contests.

Show organizers apparently got their answer when a contestant identified as Pim mistook the accelerator for the brake, veered off course, took his hands from the wheel, covered his eyes, struck a car and ran down both a camera man and the show’s host. By some small miracle, no one was seriously injured in the episode, though host Ruben Nicolai spent some time in the hospital as a result of Pim’s excursion.

Strangely enough, the show shoved two passengers into the car with Pim for his stunt. Neither of the two ladies were harmed in his off-course adventure despite the fact that he hit a staff car hard enough to shatter the windshield in his Volvo and blow the airbags. Hit the jump to watch the video for yourself

Dutch people must be desperate for some TV shows.

GOP SENATOR: SAYING MILLIONAIRES SHOULD SHARE PAIN IS ‘PATHETIC’ - http://pulse.me/s/xeq9

What about the middle class family, who can barely afford to keep afloat? The family who is not too poor for financial aid but not rich enough to afford their kid’s tuition? I think it’s pathetic how the middle class in America is shrinking because of these Republican bastards.

Analyst: Brett Favre might be interested in returning for 21st year

According to NFL.com analyst Gil Brandt, QBBrett Favre might be considering a(nother) comeback for a 21st NFL season.

“I do think Favre would be interested in talking to a team about returning,” Brandt wrote in an NFL.com chat Tuesday. “But I don’t see a team out there right now that would bring him back as a starter.”

Brandt was vice president of player personnel for the Cowboys for three decades. However he hasn’t worked in an NFL front office for more than 20 years. Still, he remains very well-connected in league circles.

Fuck, Favre, hang it the fuck up already.

Microsoft Pays University of Nebraska To Use Office 365

parislemon:

When you can’t beat em (Google Apps in the Cloud), don’t even try. Pay people to use your service instead.

No, it’s not straight-up cash. But it’s still hundreds of thousands of dollars in incentives such as other Microsoft software. Money that would otherwise be revenue from the University of Nebraska to Microsoft. So yes, they are paying them.

Microsoft… stop doing it wrong already.

Casey Anthony reacts to being found not guilty of murder charges at the Orange County Courthouse in Orlando, Fla., on July 5, 2011. She faced the death penalty for charges of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.
The Verdict: Defendants React

The next OJ Simpson? Not exactly. The only evidence of her possibly killing her daughter is because she constantly lied to police. But that leads to the question - who the *fuck* did kill her?

Michael Hiltzik: BMW layoffs exemplify the evisceration of the middle class

Every working American should be dismayed by — and afraid of — what BMW is doing.

These employees exemplified the best qualities of the American worker. They devoted their working lives to BMW, at a time when it was building and solidifying its U.S. beachhead. Their wages, with benefits, paid for a reasonable middle-class lifestyle if they managed it carefully. Throw in the job security they were encouraged to expect, and they had the confidence to make sacrifices and investments that contributed to the economy for the long term, like college education for the kids, an addition on the house, a new baby. Then one day they were handed a mass pink slip, effective in a matter of weeks.

Nike re-signs Vick

americanmccarver:

The brand dropped him in August 2007, halting the release of his fifth signature shoe, the Air Zoom Vick V, and releasing a statement saying that cruelty to animals was “inhumane, abhorrent and unacceptable.”

I’m all for rehabilitation, believing people can change, second chances and the like. But… too soon?

I’m not sure about this. Players change, and Michael Vick is a great football player, but I agree - too soon.
